LONGDING, Sep 3: A hands-on training programme on use of web portal for monitoring and geo-tagging of assets created under various projects/schemes system was held here on Monday.
Longding DC Vikram Singh Mallik urged all the heads of departments and their technical staffs to make the best use of the training. He expressed hope that the training on geo-tagging would bring efficiency in the implementation of projects in the remote areas.
SRSAC Director (Monitoring) M Ori presented a brief on the technology of geo-tagging and the web portal for the geo-tagging developed by the state government.
Besides the deputy commissioner, resources persons from the SRSAC imparted the training through PowerPoint presentations. (DIPRO)
