SEPPA, Sep 4: The career counselling and guidance cell of the government model college (GMC) here conducted a career counselling workshop for the college’s undergraduate students on Tuesday.
Attending the workshop, East Kameng Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Singh Rajawat said time management is an important aspect while preparing for any exam.
“Proper planning is also necessary for achieving success in career, no matter what profession you choose,” the DC said.
He released a book titled Honest Measures of Success, written by UPSC counsellor Sandeep Kumar, who was present at the workshop as one of the resource persons. Kumar spoke about motivation, time management, and planning.
Circle Officer Puza Sonam Natung dwelt on the multi-dimensional roles of the state’s civil servants, and explained the three stages of the state civil services examinations.
GMC Principal Robin Hissang spoke on various courses being offered by some reputed universities across the country for further study after graduation.
History Associate Professor Dr Rajesh Verma and Assistant Professor Mito Riba also spoke.
