ITANAGAR, Sep 4: Land Management Minister Nabam Rebia has filed a complaint with the capital superintendent of police on Tuesday over the allegation made by one Tenzing Norbu on Facebook, where he claimed that Rebia and local MLA Techi Kaso were involved in the reported ‘cash-for-job’ scam in the Itanagar Municipal Council.
In his complaint to the SP, Rebia said “the unethical article” uploaded on the social media site greatly damaged his hard-earned public image and put his integrity into question, and sought action against Norbu.
“Tenzing Norbu should be booked under appropriate sections of the IT Act and a criminal case may be registered against him under relevant sections of the law,” Rebia said.
It is understood that the SIC is currently investigating the case.
