ITANAGAR, Sep 18: Engineers’ Day was celebrated in a befitting manner at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic College (RGGPC) here on 15 September.
The programme was organized by the All Arunachal Pradesh Unemployed Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and Computer Engineers Association.
Addressing the function, Hydropower Development Corporation Ltd deputy general manager Mara Kacho advised the students to not just rely on state government jobs but seek job opportunities in other states of the country and abroad.
RGGPC Principal AK Tripathy advised the students to maintain discipline and pursue their studies sincerely.
Social activist Payi Gyadi in his address vowed to fight against “malpractices and corruption in the recruitment system,” and to support the deprived sections of the society.
The association’s president Rigam Ralung and RTI chairman Goken Basar also spoke.
