ITANAGAR, Sep 18: The Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) on Monday celebrated National Labour Day in a befitting manner at its headquarters at Nyokum Lapang here.
Speaking on the occasion, All Arunachal Pradesh Workers Union (AAPWU) and BMS co-convenor Tadung Yangfo highlighted the role of the workers in nation-building, and also the motto of the BMS.
An interactive session among the members of different constituent organizations was also held to strengthen the relationships and ensure better coordination.
Functionaries of the AAPWU, the All Arunachal Pradesh Anganwadi Workers & Helpers Union, the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation, the All Arunachal Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Union, the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Health Engineering & Water Supply Department Workers Union, and the All Arunachal Pradesh Electrical Workers Union attended the celebration.
