State BJMM members attend nat’l meet

PURI (Odisha), Sep 27: A delegation of the Arunachal Pradesh BJP Mahila Morcha, led by its president Tadar Yayang Bengia participated in the three-day national executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) here from 23 to 25 September.
BJMM delegates from all over the country attended the meeting, which was presided over by BJMM national president Vijaya Rahatkar.
Addressing the participants, BJP national president Amit Shah advised the mahila karyakartas to organise “mahila booth sammelan” in their states before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in order to strengthen the “matru shakti” at the grassroots level.
He advised them to lend support to the state governments in the implementation of policies, programmers, and schemes of the Narendra Modi government.
Among others, national Mahila Morcha executive member in charge of Meghalaya and Manipur, Kenjum Pakam, state Mahila Morcha in-charge Padmeshwari Jamoh and general secretary Techi Momta attended the meeting.
