ITANAGAR, Oct 3: Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan on Tuesday flagged off two vehicles here to undertake the Sadbhavana Yatra all over Arunachal Pradesh and other parts of the North East region.
Addressing a gathering here, the DC said that the Sadbhavna Yatra began on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, and is expected tp reach more than five crore people in its year-long journey.
The National Youth Project (NYP)-AP sponsored yatra will spread Mahatma Gandhi’s ideologies. It will make people aware of love, peace, non-violence and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.
NYP state president HP Biswas also spoke on the purpose of the trip.
