ITANAGAR, Oct 6: The mathematics training programme for in-service teachers of the government schools of the capital complex concluded at the ALS IAS centre here on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan, under whose initiative the training was organised (in collaboration with Avanti Fellows and the ALS IAS) expressed hope that the teachers would now work with new zeal, motivation, and enthusiasm to improve the educational scenario of the capital.
The training was imparted through VSAT, enabling the trainers to directly communicate with the teachers from their centre.
“This system ensures maximum output through minimum resources as the trainees are being trained by one of the best IAS institutes of the country without spending on resources through the use of technology,” Dhawan said.
The training programme in science is scheduled to start on 8 October. (DIPRO)
