RONO HILLS, Oct 10: Defending champions the Department of Commerce will lock horns with the Department of Physical Education in the final of the 3rd University Soccer League (USL)-2018 at ground No.1 of Rajiv Gandhi University on 11 October.
The Department of Commerce beat the Department of Political Science 6-5 via tie-breaker.
The match went to tie-breaker after both the teams were tied 2-2 in regulation and extra time.
Earlier, the Department of Physical Education edged past the Department of Management 2-1 in a nail-biting second semifinal.
The Department Physical Education had won the inaugural edition of the League in 2016.
