ROING, Oct 12: Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom advised the medical officers to ensure full implementation of Mission Indradhanush (MI) in Lower Dibang Valley district and check that no child is left out of the process.
She said this during a meeting of the district task force (DTF) on Mission Indradhanush, conducted in the DC’s conference hall, here on Friday.
She also tasked medical officers to check that immunisation report provided by the field level functionaries is accurate and genuine.
Stating the aims and objectives of the meeting, DMO Dr R Tatan emphasised on total coverage and to focus on pockets with unvaccinated and under-vaccinated children.
He also informed about the three rounds of MI to be conducted from 22nd October, 22nd November and 22nd December, 2018.
DRCHO Dr Raju Mena gave a presentation informing about the commitment to achieve 90 percent full immunisation coverage by December, 2018 and the achievement of 84 percent coverage during the first and second quarter of the year in the district.
He informed that a head count will be done in identified poor coverage areas and sessions will be planned based on number of target beneficiaries.
Dr Mena also informed about the block level sensitisation on MI done so far in the district. (DIPRO)
