Governor’s wife participates in plantation drive

ITANAGAR, Oct 16: Arunachal Pradesh Governor’s wife Neelam Mishra took part in a plantation drive held at the Government Primary School, Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday, amidst the presence of forest officials, members of school management committee, teachers and students.
Interacting with the students, she asked them to participate in the Swachhata Abhiyan and take lead in making the state, greener, cleaner and plastic free.
Further, stressing on the need to avoid the use of plastic bags, she asked them to follow the three ‘Rs’ for the wastes, i.e. ‘Reduce, reuse and recycle’. (PRO to Raj Bhawan)
