ZIRO, Oct 19: ADC Gombu Tsering called for concerted effort by all the stakeholders to make immunization campaign a success in Lower Subansiri district.
ADC Tsering, who chaired the meeting of the district task force for immunization (DTFI), held in the conference hall of Gyati Takka General hospital, Hapoli here on Thursday, urged the ASHA and Anganwadi workers to make extra efforts to ensure that no child or pregnant woman is left unvaccinated during the three-month-long campaign.
Tsering lauded the untiring efforts of the ASHA and Anganwadi workers in delivering health services to the people at the last mile.
DMO Dr Tage Kano informed that the state government has converged Mission Indradhanush, Incentivisation for full immunization and Routine Immunization into Mission Pratiraksha that will be launched across the state on 22 October.
DRCHO Dr Derin Likar informed that focus will be on pockets with unvaccinated and under vaccinated areas. Headcount will be done in identified poor coverage areas and sessions will be planned based on the number of target beneficiaries.
He also presented the micro plan for the district.
The meeting was followed by a workshop on Mission Pratiraksha for the MOs-in-charge and other health workers.
All the DTFI members, doctors and in charges of all the PHCs attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
