ITANAGAR, Oct 20: The pre-quarterfinal matches (R-16) of the Vishwakarma Football Running Trophy Tournament will be held from 21 October.
Six matches were played on Saturday.
In their last group encounter, Rughu Sports Club and 7D FC played out a 1-1 draw. However, both the teams have qualified for the last 16.
Ajing United Club beat Division-IV FC 3-1 in the second match of the day, while 5/1United FC trounced Abotani Colony FC 7-2 in the third match.
CRY FC edged past Chandranagar FC 1-0 in the fourth match and advanced to the next round.
Champion FC also qualified for the knock-out round after a 1-1 with Techi Momta FC in the fifth match.
T-Group FC beat Yukar Yaluk FC 2-1 in the last match of the day. Both the teams qualified for the round of 16.
