ITANAGAR, Oct 22: Renowned cancer specialists from the Northeast region and various institutes of the country will participate in the 13th annual conference of the Association of Radiation Oncologist of India – North East Zonal Chapter (AROI-NEZON 2018), here on 26 and 27 October.
The conference will feature experts speaking on cancer in the context of the NE region – Arunachal Pradesh in particular – besides on problems of the NE region, and recent trends in management of various cancers.
Panel discussions, debates, and poster presentations on different types of cancer, as well as deliberations on ‘radiation safety aspects’ by officials of the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board of India are also scheduled to be held during the two-day programme.
The conference is aimed at providing a platform for the doctors of the NE region to be updated and share experiences with experts.
