CHIRANG, Oct 31: A community hall at Chirang village of the border district of Anjaw was inaugurated by MLA Dasanglu Pul on Wednesday.
The legislator, who came here for a development meeting along with heads of departments, appreciated the village for the cleanliness and upkeep of school and community assets.
Public leader Soney Manyu informed the people about government schemes, while Swachh Bharat Abhiyan brand ambassador of Anjaw, Sohan Manyu spoke about maintaining cleanliness.
The villagers also thanked youth leader Sohan Krong for his dedicated endeavours in ensuring welfare of the villagers.
The MLA and Manyu also planted saplings to mark the occasion.
