PASIGHAT, Nov 6: MLA Kaling Moyong on Monday urged Union Communications Minister Manoj Sinha to issue a postage stamp in honour of the founder of Donyi-Poloism, Golgi Bote Talom Rukbo.
In a letter to the union minister, Moyong urged Sinha to take steps to issue a commemorative postage stamp on Rukbo.
“Rukbo was the pioneer of the indigenous faith movement in Arunachal Pradesh, and his contribution towards promoting and preserving the indigenous faiths and culture of the state is unparalleled,” Moyong said.
