ITANAGAR, Nov 9: The All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) has written to the chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), seeking early commencement of the process to recruit 1,130 teachers.
In its representation, the union said though the advertisement for recruitment to teachers’ posts was published way back in June, the commission is yet to start the actual process.
“One of the main reasons for the poor performance of the students in the CBSE examination is lack of subject teachers. As the state government has given the responsibility of conducting teachers’ recruitment to the APPSC, we urge the commission to conduct this exam before the month of December,” the ANSU said.
