TAWANG, Nov 12: The 12-hour district bandh imposed by the All Tawang District Students’ Union passed without incident on Monday.
In the district headquarters, people were seen participating in cleanliness drives, and schools, government offices and banks remained open. A few tourist vehicles were also seen plying without any hindrance.
However, the shopkeepers throughout the district downed their shutters.
As per reports from Lungla and Jang administrative headquarters, all the schools, government offices and financial institutions functioned normally.
The district administration along with security forces and the police conducted patrolling during the bandh hours. (DIPRO)
