JOLLANG, Nov 12: The people of Tugung Namchang here in Papum Pare district, in collaboration with the students of Jollang-based MR boys’ hostel, run by the Society for Education and Environmental Development (SEED), participated in a cleanliness drive in Tugung Namchang area on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, local resident Tadar Nikia said, “Cleanliness must begin from the individual house, then to village, district, state and then nation as a whole.”
SEED director Mibo Pertin expressed appreciation for the villagers and the students for conducting the cleanliness drive in the area.
Tugung Namchang Welfare Committee president Vijay Ama Tajo, general secretary Kholi Sonu, and convenor Dopu Nima also spoke.
