Apex Bank officials urged to cultivate professionalism

NAHARLAGUN, Nov 19: Apex Bank Administrator Habung Lampung urged the officers and officials of the bank to cultivate “a strong sense of professionalism, aptitude, and way of dealing with banking business.”
Inaugurating a three-day contact classes on certified professional for cooperative bank (CPCB) Level 1 course organized in collaboration with Lucknow (UP)-based Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) for the officers and officials of the Apex Bank at the Administrative Training Institute here on Monday, Lampung said “every employee is an equal contributory partner to achieve the organizational goals of the bank.”
He suggested that passing of CPCB Level 1 distance course be made compulsory for the promotion of officers.
Informing that the Apex Bank has set a target for its loan recovery drive and deposit mobilization, he urged everyone to work to achieve the goal.
BIRD DGM Sudarsan KK Misra shared his knowledge of the C-PEC and its role.
“It was a long-felt necessity to develop skill and build capacity of the staff in view of changing scenario in the banking sector as well as technology adoption,” Apex Bank Managing Director Tsering Thondok said.
He advised the participants to attend the contact classes sincerely, and assured to incorporate the CPCB qualification in the bank’s HR policy for the benefit of the staff.
