LEKHI, Nov 27: Iconic Automobiles here launched the most luxurious offering till date from Mahindra, the Alturas G4, on 26 November.
It will compete with players that operate in the Rs 30+ lakhs (ex-showroom) price range. The Alturas G4 would be exclusively available through a separate high-end showroom within the existing Mahindra ‘World of SUVs’ dealerships.
The Alturas G4 is available in two variants – G4 2WD and G4 4WD. The launch price starts at Rs 26.95 lakhs for G4 2WD and Rs 29.95 lakhs for G4 4WD.
With the Alturas G4, Mahindra would also be introducing a new premium loyalty programme called ‘Purple Club+’. The programme will be a first-in-category loyalty programme that would enable customers to earn and redeem points based on engagements with the brand.
The Alturas G4 comes with a host of technology and safety features, many of which are not available in vehicles in a similar price range. The Alturas G4’s new 2157 CC engine produces 187 bhp of power and 420 Nm of torque. The Alturas G4 will be equipped with significant hi-tech and safety features, including an 8-way powered driver seat with memory profile, dual zone FATC, 9 airbags, 3D 360 degree around view camera, ventilated seats, and active rollover protection.
