CS hails SSB as revolutionary change in state’s recruitment process

ITANAGAR, Nov 28: Chief Secretary Satya Gopal has termed Staff Selection Board (SSB) as a revolutionary change in the recruitment process in the state which he said, “will transform the governance in the state in the years to come.”
He was addressing the commissioners and secretaries of the state government during a meeting relating to SSB on requisition of vacancies available in various departments on Wednesday.
While stating that the recruitment through SSB will fulfil the mandate of state government which stands for complete transparency, merit, and equal opportunity, the CS informed that vacancies may be intimated within a week time as SSB needs to issue advertisement within the month of December as per the government timelines and rest of the processes shall also continue thereafter.
Further, SSB chairman,Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma informed that requisition form has been finalised and will be accordingly circulated to every department.
It was also decided in the meeting that departments with Group ‘C’ vacancies should notify the SSB about the number of vacancies in the requisition form within a week’s time to start recruitment process at the earliest.
SSB secretary, Rahul Singh informed that 10 examination centres have been identified which will conduct examinations of Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board.
