ZIRO, Dec 1: Hage Bath, head gaon burah (HGB) of Hari village, here in Lower Subansiri district, passed away at RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar on 30 November after a brief illness.
He was about 90 years, and is survived by four sons and many grand children.
Bath was also a social reformer and expert in solving local cases and disputes. He was elevated to HGB in 1999.
The All Apatani Gaon Bura Welfare Association has deeply mourned the passing away of Bath and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
