‘Arunachal Rising’ campaign launched with SAD camp

POBDI, Dec 7: The West Siang administration conducted a Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp here on Friday, concurrently with the launch of the state government’s ‘Arunachal Rising’ campaign in the district.
Both events drew an overwhelming response from the people of Ete Bango.
Inaugurating the function, DC Swetika Sachan exhorted the heads of offices to give their best services. She distributed free LPG connections to the beneficiaries, while various departments offered their services to the people.
Two hundred handbooks on the ‘Arunachal Rising’ campaign were also distributed to create awareness among the people about the state government’s achievements and initiatives.
The next phase of the campaign will be held at Yomcha subdivision.
In Lower Dibang Valley, the district administration organised a SAD camp at Anpum village in Dambuk subdivision on Friday.
MLA Gum Tayeng, DC Mitali Namchoom and the Dambuk ADC visited all the stalls and distributed benefits to the beneficiaries.
As many as 242 patients received free health check-up at the camp organised by the health department, while the animal husbandry & veterinary department treated 1663 cases and issued 16 forms.
Twenty-four people applied to be registered under the Unorganised Worker’s Social Security Rules, 2008. The election branch of Dambuk subdivision provided awareness on EVM and VVPAT to 136 electors. (DIPROs)
