SAD camps organised

RICHI LAMGU, Dec 9: Hundreds of people from 12 villages benefitted from the Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp organised at Richi Lamgu village on Saturday by the East Kameng district administration.
Chayang Tajo MLA Karya Bagang inaugurated the camp, and, along with DC GS Rajawat and others, inspected the stalls and interacted with the officials.
Among others, ADCs Rajiv Chiduni and Ashok Tajo, DRDA PD Dahey Sangno, CO Taya Yullu and gaon burahs were present on the occasion.
In Upper Subansiri district, over 2298 people benefited from the SAD camp organised by the administration at Baririjo on 8 December to cater to remote villages under Baririjo and Maro circles.
Twenty-four departments provided their services during the camp.
DC Danish Ashraf handed over dustbins, sports items and LED bulbs to the government secondary school in Baririjo, and later inaugurated a smart classroom in the school.
In Tirap district, a SAD camp was held at Bera village to serve Old Kothin, Boakfam, Kapu, New Kothin, Humroy, Chasa and Bera villages.
Attending the camp, DC PN Thugnon urged all the departmental heads and subordinate staffs to deliver their best services.
He inspected the departmental stalls and distributed free LPG connections under the PMUY scheme, LED bulbs under the APEDA, agriculture kits, and posters and pamphlets on disaster awareness to the beneficiaries. (DIPROs)
