NAHARLAGUN, Dec 10: Advocate and member of the Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench Bar Association (GHCIPBBA), Goke Ori, passed away on 8 December at his residence here, following prolonged illness. He was 45.
The HC’s Itanagar Permanent Bench Judge HK Sarma and the members of the GHCIPBBA have deeply mourned Ori’s demise and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
While Sarma said Ori’s demise was a great loss to the legal fraternity and the society, GHCIPBBA secretary-general Marto Kato recalled Ori as a promising lawyer whose contributions would always be remembered.
