CS stresses on timely submission of project docs

ITANAGAR, Dec 11: DoNER Secretary Naveen Verma reviewed all the ongoing and completed projects under the Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR) and the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) in the state during a video conference at the chief secretary’s conference hall here on Tuesday.
Projects such as infrastructure development of Rangfra Government College in Changlang, the Kodoka ADC headquarters, Shanti Deva Vidyalaya in Bomdila, Palin circle, the Roing-Anini road, the Aalo-Pasighat transmission line, and construction of road to Pakoti village were reviewed during the video conference.
Chief Secretary Satya Gopal directed all the chief engineers to submit on a regular basis all relevant documents with regard to all ongoing and completed projects under the NLCPR and the NESIDS in the state.
He stressed on timely submission of documents like quarterly progress reports, utilization certificates, copies of work orders, and project completion reports.
The CS told the CEs that these documents are required by the ministry as it is on the basis of the reports submitted by the executing departments that further installments of funds would be released.
“Also, additional funds could be considered by the ministry after submission of utilization certificates of the ongoing or completed projects,” Gopal said.
He also stressed on geo-tagging and photographing of the ongoing and completed projects.
