NAHARLAHUN, Dec 11: Dekio Gumja and Yane Kamsar won the men’s and women’s singles titles, respectively, of the Si Donyi Badminton Tournament, which ended at Si Donyi Hall here on Monday.
Gumja beat Rakju Rigia 21-10, 18-21, 21-17 in the men’s singles, while Kamsar defeated Chaklom Siga in straight 21-13, 21-15 sets.
The Dekio Gumja and Tajam Magria duo won the men’s doubles title, beating the pair of Rodam Sorum and Rakju Rigia.
The women’s doubles title was won by the pair of Yane Kamsar and Indira Kamsar, defeating Chaklom Siga and Ania Uli 21-16, 21- 17 in the final.
Dr Taling Mari won the men’s singles title in the veteran category. He beat Tade Baring 18-21, 21-14, 21-14 in the final.
Taanu Tamin and Tade Baring won the veteran men’s doubles title. They beat the Dr Gyan Garam and Ranjeet Gamnu duo in the final.
