SAGALEE, Dec 13: Thousands of villagers benefitted from Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camps organised at Leporiang and Kheel under Sagalee subdivision by the Papum Pare district administration on 11 and 12 December.
Twenty-three government departments provided their services to the people from Raik, Bee, Dee-Dolo, Bobia, Langruk, Newaso, Kheel, Geram, Ompuli, Dakte-Hoj, Rayepech, Satang and Laptap villages during the camp.
SAD camps were also earlier held at Parang, Nyopang and Mengio.
Among others, Sagalee MLA and former CM Nabam Tuki and DC Dr Joram Beda attended the programmes.
In Tirap district, the administration organised a SAD camp at Khela on 11 December, benefitting people from Khela, Old Bunting, Chominthung, New Bunting, Longbo, Lamsa, Changthing, Wathin and Sikhu villages.
The camp was inaugurated by former ZPC Sontung Bangsia, in the presence of DC PN Thungon. (DIPROs)
