SEPPA, Dec 23: Fifty selected farmers from Bameng, Khenewa, Lada and Seppa blocks participated in a training programme on ‘scientific land terracing’ under ATMA, which was conducted here in East Kameng district on Friday.
During the programme, ADOs Tadi Dodum and Joymoni Beyong explained to the farmers the technical aspects involved in scientific terracing of land.
Scientific land terracing is a state plan under SADA, specially tailored for the food-deficit districts of the state.
