GANGA, Dec 23: The Arunachal Pradesh social audit unit conducted social audit (jan sunwai) on MGNREGA schemes at the gram panchayat here in Papum Pare district on Friday.
With this, the second round of social audit on MGNREGA got underway in the state.
During the programme, the audit team, comprising MGNREGA cell programme officer Sanjeev Das and social audit expert Baybang Deepok, presented their reports on the MGNREGA schemes implemented during 2016-’17 and 2017-’18 in Ganga gram panchayat.
The team advised the BDO that all the relevant documents should be properly maintained in order to avoid inconvenience during social audit.
The resource persons also responded to the queries raised by the job card holders.
Block resource persons from 11 districts and job card holders of Ganga gram panchayat participated in the audit.
The team had conducted social audit of 110 gram panchayats in 13 districts in 2017-’18 during the first round of audit.
