ZIRO, Dec 24: The district Level Hangpan Dada Football and Volleyball Tournaments (boys & girls) for Lower Subansiri concluded at the Hija GHSS ground here on here on Sunday.
Hari zilla segment won the boys’ football, and the runner-up were the Yazali zilla segment.
In the girls’ category, Pistana zilla segment were the winners and Hija zilla segment the runner-up.
The winner in the boys’ volleyball were the Hija zilla segment and the runner-up were the Pistana zilla segment.
In the girls’ category Yachuli zilla segment were the winners and Diibo zilla segment were the runner-up.
In total, eight teams from across the district took part in the sports event.
Sports & Youth Affairs Secretary Dani Sulu and Apatani Youth Association president Hibu Tamang gave away the prizes to the winners of the football and volleyball matches. (DIPRO)
