One CC road construction of around 200m towards Basar Polytechnic has began on 28th Dec’ restricting vehicular movement for 15 Days.
The administration did not inform the people beforehand. Alternate route takes extra 7km(approx). Many people do not own vehicles.
The administration should have issued the same after New Year’s Day. It is pertinent to mention that the said stretch of Rigid Pavement was already completed couple of months back but didn’t last even for a month whereas Cement Concrete road is supposed to withstand for many years. Eventually executing agency PWD didn’t entertain the bill and Contractor is re laying which has created blockade twice in a short time. No one is suffering but us because of contractor’s fault.
