TEZU, Jan 8: Papum Pare women drubbed Longding 12-0 in a league level football match of the third Hangpang Dada Memorial Trophy (HDMT) tournaments here in Lohit district on Monday.
Lower Subansiri and Lower Dibang Valley won their respective matches against Tirap and Lower Siang with an identical 2-0 margin in the women’s football, while West Siang were given a walkover against Siang.
In the men’s section, Capital Complex, East Kameng and Kurung Kumey registered victories over their respective opponents on Monday.
While Capital Complex notched up a relatively easy 5-2 win over Namsai, Kurung Kumey had to struggle before edging past Upper Siang 1-0.
East Kameng beat their neighbour West Kameng 3-1. Lower Dibang Valley were given a walkover against Siang.
