ITANAGAR, Jan 11: The Arunachal Pradesh Abo Tani Clan Youth Organis-ation on Thursday submitted a representation to the chief minister, seeking cancellation of the land allotted to the BJP in the IG Park tennis court area.
In its representation, the organization questioned how the state government and the capital complex DC issued land allotment to the political party for the construction of its office while the plot in question “is government land meant for public utility,” and how the authority concerned approved the allotment “when issuing of land allotment in the capital complex has been banned for the last few years till date.”
The organisation also expressed opposition to the state government’s recent statement regarding granting of PRCs to non-APSTs, and sought immediate rollback of the statement.
It served a 15-day ultimatum to the government and the authority concerned, and threatened to resort to democratic action if its demands are not met by then.
