ITANAGAR, Jan 15: Two U-17 Taekwondo teams, of nine boys and eight girls, respectively, have been selected to represent Arunachal in the 64th National School Games (NSG), which will be held at Nadiad in Gujarat from 21 to 29 January.
According to a release from the sports & youth service state coordinator, the teams will be leaving separately on 16 and 22 January.
Addressing the players during a programme at the secondary education directorate here on Tuesday, Youth Welfare Officer L Sokun Singh advised them to perform well in the national level school games.
He said all the medal winners in the NSG would be felicitated by the secondary education department on or before 31 March.
