ITANAGAR, Jan 16: The Pachi Rigom Road Development Committee (PRRDC) in a letter to the East Kameng deputy commissioner has placed a complaint against various anomalies in the road construction from Pachi to Lochung on Wednesday.
The committee in its complaint said that despite provision of widening and re-alignment of road, the executing agency (M/s Kaushal Sharma) “is incompetent to do so.”
“There are very dangerous U-turns at some points and the gravel used to construct the drainage is of very poor quality,” the committee said, adding that “there may be human casualty during monsoon.”
The committee further added that the road width is of just four metres, which is against the construction norms and asked the DC to act on the anomalies at the earliest.
