ITANAGAR, Jan 18: Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology (APSCST) Chairman Bamang Mangha urged the council’s governing body members to expand the council’s activities to the grassroots level.
Addressing a meeting of the APSCST at the science centre here on Friday, Mangha urged the scientists under the council to “work with dedication for promotion and expansion of science and technology to widen the scope for development of the state and its people.”
The CM’s technical advisor, KC Dhimole, said the APSCST was progressing in the right direction, and suggested “creating a division of renewable energy under the council and presenting report on the council’s activities to the NITI Aayog for receiving further support.”
Earlier, APSCST Director CD Mungyak made a PowerPoint presentation on the activities of the council during 2017-18.
