SAD camps, AR campaign assessed

AALO, Jan 18: West Siang Deputy Commissioner (in-charge) N Wangen stressed on providing government services and creating awareness in the nook and corner of the district through the Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camps and the ‘Arunachal Rising’ campaign.
Addressing a meeting here on Friday, the DC exhorted the teachers who have been appointed as communicators and gram preraks under the AR campaign to “intensify the movements at their level in an effective way.”
DIPRO Gijum Tali urged the communicators to try to reach families through the students to get their feedback on the developmental schemes of the government.
Besides the communicators, anganwadi workers and winners of the essay competition held on Children’s Day also attended the meeting.

SAD camps organised
Meanwhile, in Kamle district, government departments and banking institutions provided services to the people during the SAD camps organised by the district administration at Paro and Kalaptukur in Dollungmukh circle on 16 and 17 January.
