YUPIA, Jan 22: A district level workshop on Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) for in-charge medical officers and a DFTI committee meeting for the third round of Mission Pratiksha (MP) were held under the chairmanship of Doimukh SDO Mokar Riba here in Papum Pare district on Tuesday.
DRCHO Dr Worar Taku made a PowerPoint presentation on the IPPI and MP, while WHO RRT Dr Mahesh D Patil spoke on the preparation of a micro-plan for the IPPI and routine immunization (RI).
The SDO urged all to “work with dedication, zeal and sincerity, so that people get maximum benefits from the health department.”
He asked them to prepare and furnish a “quality micro-plan” for RI within the timeline set by the district. He also commended the performance of the district in the earlier rounds of MP.
DSO Dr RR Ronya and DVBDCPO Dr Tana Aruna also gave their inputs.
The meeting was also attended by CDPO P Moyong, APO (Education) Tadar Kappa, all in-charge MOs and staff of the DRCHO. (DIPRO)
