SAYA demands arrest of all accused in TAH scam

ITANAGAR, Jan 30: The Save Arunachal Youth Association (SAYA) appealed to the state government to arrest all the accused involved in the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) compensation scam of Potin to-Bopi TAH road and Joram to Koloriang TAH road.
In a representation to the governor on Tuesday, the SAYA threatened to take the path of democratic agitation if the state government fails to pay heed to its demands within 15 days.
The association further demanded proper investigation of TAH scam, complete re-verification of the Potin to Bopi and Joram to Koloriang road, disbursement of compensation to genuine land owners as per approved rate, confiscations of the false and forged bill paid against bogus beneficiary immediately.
“It is very shameful that due to greed of few people, construction of TAH road is halted and executing agency PPHL withdraws its contract for construction of TAH road from Potin to Pangin,” the association said.
