MODEL VILLAGE, Feb 2: Two-time Model Super League (MSL) champion Commando FC won a resounding 4-0 victory over debutants Thug Life Bulls FC in the first match of the second day of the MSL-2019 here on Saturday.
Scoring two goals for his team, Gyammar Kuku not only took away the ‘man of the match’ award, but also maintained his lead as the top scorer in the league.
Taba Tatung and Taba Ronpu were the other two scorers for Commando FC.
Later, in a keenly contested night match, Black Warriors FC (BWFC) beat Queens Gate Public School (QGPS) by a 2-1 score line.
Both the goals for BWFC were scored by Techi Tem, while Tassar Dignium scored the lone goal for QGPS.
Techi Tem was adjudged the ‘man of the match’.
The next match has been scheduled for 3 pm on Sunday, where Petwa United FC will be up against Real Model FC, and Athletico de Model will face Khampu FC at 6 pm.
