RALUNG, Feb 18: Pasighat West MLA Tatung Jamoh, accompanied by Ruksin ADC Kabit Apang and local leaders, on Monday inaugurated the community hall in Ralung village in East Siang district.
The Rs 21 lakh fund for the community hall was granted under the MLA’s 2017-18 local area development fund, and the building was constructed by Pasighat division of the water resources department.
Jamoh urged the villagers to properly maintain the hall and keep its surroundings clean. He assured that he would grant more fund for its extension and renovation.
The ADC in his address asked the villagers to treat the community hall “as a holy place” and use it for the welfare of the community.
The construction of the community hall was the result of the commitment the MLA had made during the last assembly election, Ralung GB Olut Panggeng said.
The MLA earlier inaugurated the welcome gate of Ngorlung village, and a rural link road in Ngorlung, which was constructed with SIDF fund.
