PASIGHAT, Mar 29: Farmers and rural youths benefitted from a workshop on ‘petroleum product conservation in agriculture sector’, which was held at the College of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF) here in East Siang district on Friday.
Directed by CHF Associate Professor Dr Saroj Kumar Pattanaik, the workshop was aimed at familiarizing the participants with the use of tractors, power tillers, oil engines and other farm machineries and equipment in agriculture.
Among others, CHF Dean Dr BN Hazarika, and Dibrugarh University’s Atmospheric Science Dean Dr M Das attended the workshop.
