Kudos to the APPSC for introducing recruitment tests for the posts of lecturers in civil engineering at the government polytechnic institutes in the state. This initiative on the part of the commission augurs well for the future of the state.
It is a very tough job to select a candidate after interviewing them for just 20-30 minutes. Often luck and chance play a crucial role in such exams. Introducing recruitment test along with viva voce would be of help to select the best candidates, unlike in the previous exams where luck played a major role in the selection of candidates.
With high hopes from the commission, I would like to request it to introduce the same pattern in all the upcoming recruitment exams for the post of lecturers in every discipline.
