ITANAGAR, Apr 17: Pasighat Municipal Council has started the door to door waste collection from Wednesday.
The Door to Door waste collection will be free for the month of April but from May households and commercial establishments will have to pay for the services.
The council has signed a MoU with Donyi Aane, an NGO.
Speaking on the occasion DC East Siang Dr. Kinny Singh said that PMC would try to fulfill citizen’s demand of a clean and garbage free city but citizens should also share the responsibility of making the city clean.
Dr. Singh further informed that an initiative named “My waste-My Responsibility” is being initiated with the help of Donyi Aane NGO. (DIPRO)
