NAROTTAM NAGAR, Jun 19: The Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) here in Tirap district distributed 50 bicycles, sponsored by Nirumalan K Pillay from Singapore, on 18 June.
The bicycles were distributed among the poor and needy from various strata of society, including students and labourers from Deomali and Mopaya areas of Arunachal Pradesh and the Namsang tea estate and Margherita area of Assam.
The event was also attended by PHE&WS Minister Wangki Lowang, Narottam Nagar RKM secretary Swami Achyutesha-nanda, and Ramakrishna Math vice president Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj.
