ITANAGAR, Jun 23: The Poma Rillo Moin Youth Welfare Society has banned hunting, fishing and collection of natural resources within Poma panchayat in Sangdupota circle of Papum Pare district.
In a press release, the group on Sunday claimed that outsiders have lately been repeatedly entering the village area and indulging in such illegal activities.
It also urged people visiting the Poma river to respect the sanctity of the village and not indulge in illegal activities. It warned that action would be initiated against those who break the prohibition imposed by the villagers.
