SEPPA, Jun 28: The implementation of various national and state health programmes in East Kameng district was reviewed here recently by a state level monitoring team headed by Family Welfare Director Dr Allok Yirang.
The 13-member team, which comprised officials from the DHS, the DFW and the NHM and representatives of the CMAAY, the PMJAY and the UNICEF, visited the district hospital here, the CHC in Chayang Tajo, the PHC in Bameng, the PHC in Bana, and the HWCs in Khenewa and Nari Camp on 24 and 25 June to assess the quality of the public health delivery system.
They also interacted with the community members at Sebibo and Pabua villages.
Discussions were also held with the DMO and his team of officials to chalk out strategies to further improve the healthcare scenario in the district.
The Pakke-Kessang DMO and representatives of the women & and child development department were also present during the discussion.
The team reviewed the implementation of health programmes such as the National Health Mission, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna, the Chief Minister’s Arogya Arunachal Yojna, and the Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh.
