NAHARLAGUN, Jul 23: Cooperation Secretary Onit Panyang inaugurated the medicine counter of the Arunachal Pradesh Consumers’ Cooperative Federation Ltd, near the TRIHMS here, on Tuesday.
Later, addressing the department’s officers, Panyang asked them to “bring in more societies and citizens under the cooperative movement.”
He also asked the department to generate more revenue through loan recovery, registration and renewal fees, and advised it to “explore possibilities of turmeric processing and piggery through cooperative societies in the state.”
Cooperative Societies Registrar Tai Kaye also spoke.
